Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Xmas Vault collects and how we use it across our website and our Discord application.

1. Information we collect

• Website: standard, privacy-respecting analytics such as page views and approximate region. We do not require you to create an account to browse.
• Discord bot: when you send a command to our bot (e.g. !hermes), we process the command text and your Discord user ID solely to respond and to apply admin permissions. We do not read or store messages that are not addressed to the bot.
• Email: if you contact us, we keep your message and email address to reply.

2. How we use it

To operate and improve the Service: to generate and serve content, respond to bot commands, understand which Vault Unlocks are useful, and communicate with you.

3. Third parties

We rely on a small number of providers to run the Service:

• Moonshot AI (Kimi) — generates article and chat content from prompts we send.
• Discord — delivers our bot and your interactions with it.
• Hostinger — hosting and email infrastructure.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Data retention

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Bot command logs are kept transiently for operation and troubleshooting.

5. Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to run the site and basic analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

6. Your choices

You may request access to or deletion of personal data we hold about you by emailing us. You can remove the bot from a server at any time to stop processing your commands.
